ECI - Running AW 19

In May 2019 we got the assignment to shoot the 2019 AW Running Campaign for El Corte Inglés.  We had also shot the 2019 Spring Summer one with great results but we aimed to go a step forward in this one.  

We opted for a more friendly concept  “Sharing that training time with friends”. Practicing any kind of sport in a group is always way more fun than doing it alone and that was the main concept for the campaign.  

Working in Madrid was kind of an advantage but also a handicap. We had seen almost everything in this city and shot almost everywhere and that could make the photos seem  repetitive.   

The final casting was a mix of great athletes from various disciplines: velocity pro runners, an ultra runner and a fitness athlete; so that we could cover almost any kind of target.  

We had 3 amazing days of shooting all around Madrid with a great team of people that did their best to make this work an easy path.

Audiovisuals

Together with the photoshoot we had to also create some audiovisual content. We put the focus on creating a constant movement for the video and make the spectator feel like running together with the athletes. The music was composed with a marked beat that matches the speed of each step to enhance that feeling of movement.
